DVRT: A UNIVERSAL SYSTEM FOR FITNESS PROFESSIONALS

I moved away from the idea of being a “personal trainer” quite some time ago. Instead, I thought considering myself to be a “fitness professional” was far more appropriate in terms of what I wanted to be and what I wanted to teach our staff at my gym, Envision Fitness.

But as the old saying goes, “Respect is earned, not given.” So part of raising the standard of the fitness professional for us has been two-fold:
  1. Being open-minded and finding cutting edge education to stay ahead of the game.
  2. Learning how to most successfully apply these methods.
Sounds easy enough, right? Unfortunately, many fitness professionals struggle with the second part. Most add in a new exercise here or new idea there. But the real key to success is the development of systems.
